I decided to creep out of the shadows at Destructoid and post a remix I made based on Galaga. So far, it’s getting positive reviews which is great. It’s nice to know that there are other people who like my work and not just me. Here hoping for a double-sized episode of RetroforceGO next week.
Why? Because (as of now) it has no time limit for hosting uploaded files [WIN]. Sure there is a limit of 100MB per file but, I’ve learned that the video game soundtrack files I’ve uploaded to FileFactory and Megaupload have expired due to inactivity [FAIL]. So, in the future, I’ll be re-uploading the ones that are under 100MB to MediaFire to save bandwidth costs. BTW, the Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix OST [Da_Da_Re_Ma_Mi_OST] is still a working link because I used MediaFire for it. The links to the other files that are over 100MB will have to point towards my web host. Lesson learned. If any of you know of a file host the has no file inactivity limits like MediaFire but allows uploads of bigger files, please comment with the info. I would appreciate it. Also, the zip file names and the file links may look strange or nonsensical (like the example above). The more web astute of you out there know why that is but know that you are downloading the right file.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww SNAP! I’m Marshie again! No wait… What?! You though it was over?! There’s a Rez REMIX soundtrack! This is limited edition people! LIM-I-TED ED-I-TION! An official mixed album of the Dreamcast and Playstation 2 music shooter game “Rez”. All new songs by the artists who provided material for the game, including Ken Ishii, Oval, Coldcut, Joujouka.
Sample: “Fear”

Rez was released today on XBLA. It’s a shooter that puts you in a virtual computer-like world in a battle against viruses. This game was a sleeper hit for the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 and copies of the game were VERY hard to find so it’s great that it’s out for download. The innovative thing about Rez was that you essentially created your own soundtrack as you’re playing. (Rez was allegedly quoted as saying: “LUMINES, I am your father!”) Each enemy, lock-on, shot and kill makes a sound in time to the beat. Download it now for 800 M$ points ($10.00). If for some reason you didn’t like this game, or thought it was weird, or didn’t like the techno music, it’s because you suck. Now, for those of you that don’t suck, enjoy as Fun With Bonus celebrates the release of Rez for the XBLA with the Original Soundtrack, “Rez Game Sound Data”.
Sample: “Eden”

Look! Do you SEE them? Look by the “Home” link… It starts.

Get the entire Sonic Rush Adventure Original Soundtrack over at #gamemp3s. They have ripped the entire album and put it in a RAR package with a couple of other good soundtracks. Its on the front page at their site. Don’t forget to use the RAR file password that they supply for you to extract all of the musical goodness. I’ve downloaded it and I like it, especially the title track and “Waterbike”.
Soon you will see another page link on the Mac-like bar next to the word “Home”. It will have music soundtracks from Sonic Team including this one ready for download. Once the link at #gamemp3s falls off their main page, I’ll put a ZIPped copy of this album on that page. Don’t worry Mario fans, the “Mario Club OSTs” page will also represent with some OSTs and albums from the Mario series. Get ready to burn some bandwidth!
